Kathy Liguzinski

Years of industry experience working with the insurance needs of individuals and business owners in Cincinnati, together with a passion for helping people who qualify for Medicare to live healthy, worry-free lives, makes Kathy particularly well-suited as an advisor and agent.
“I have a lot of energy,” Kathy recently said. “For years, I was fully involved in the family business and raising three children. I watched my parents deal with the inevitable decisions of aging, while also seeing my children grow up to be caring and inquisitive adults. Somewhere along the journey, I developed a genuine interest in helping others make sound decisions, especially the elderly and the super busy.”
“I believe that knowledge trumps confusion. But we can’t be experts on everything. So after seeing my own parents struggle with healthcare decisions, I focused on becoming an expert on the issues surrounding Medicare.”
Clients are not charged for consultations. “Becoming eligible for Medicare brings with it confusion and doubt about whether you are making the correct choices within the timelines Medicare sets for enrollment or annual plan changes,” says Kathy. “My job is to eliminate the confusion and help seniors feel confident about the decisions they make with Medicare.”
Kathy is a popular speaker on the subject of Medicare Health Insurance with community groups in Cincinnati, and has authored several articles for Cincy Magazine on the importance of gathering facts before choosing options. She is an expert at explaining the pitfalls of Medicare rules, timelines and penalties in a manner everyone can understand.
Kathy is a member of the Cincinnati Senior Connection, Westside Professional Women, and the Western Economic Council. She is a board member of Local School Decision Making at Dater High School (LSDMC) and attended the University of Cincinnati. Kathy and her husband Tom have three children.
Andy Stamas

In 2005, Andy began his insurance career in the Cincinnati area…helping individuals with personal insurance and financial planning. But in 2011, Andy accidentally got into the Medicare business. He was asked by a renowned group benefits agency to be their “Medicare guy.”
Andy quickly realized he had a knack for connecting with seniors and making a very difficult topic much easier to absorb. This ultimately led to the formation of his own insurance agency, Medicare Mindset.
Andy grew the agency for many years and has created a treasure trove of Medicare education content at medicaremindset.com and on Medicare Mindset’s YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/medicaremindset).
In July 2023, Andy merged his agency with The Medicare Plan Store. The combined agency is now called The MedPlan Store.
Andy manages The MedPlan Store with fellow Medicare guru, Kathy Liguzinski.

Andy and his wife (Kimberly) have been married since 2007. They have two boys and love living out in the country. Andy enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, and building things.
Casey Schulz
Agent
A Cincinnati native, Casey worked for Cincinnati Milacron in Human Resources for 20 years prior to coming to The MedPlan Store. “I enjoyed getting to know my employees and guiding them through their benefit choices. Making a difference for employees and being a valued and trusted resource is rewarding and gratifying.”
Casey enjoys working with seniors and helping them understand Medicare and their coverage options. “At the end of the day, it just feels good!” She is also a member of the Cincinnati Senior Connection, a non-profit foundation that helps seniors by providing counsel, assistance, encouragement and support.
Casey spends weekends boating at Grand Lake St Mary’s with family and friends, where she is a member of the Grand Lake Recreation Club and the Lake Improvement Association. She loves sports, being outdoors, and enjoys golfing with friends.
Nikki Tritsch
Agent
Nikki was born and raised in Cincinnati and now lives in Terrace Park with her husband and three kids.
Prior to coming to The MedPlan Store, Nikki worked as a personal trainer, enjoying the interaction with clients and helping them achieve their fitness goals.
Nikki is looking forward to working with seniors to help them put together the puzzle pieces of Medicare, and finding the plan to best fit their healthcare needs.
Kevin Isaacson
Agent
Kevin is a Cincinnati native and resides with his wife and son in Hyde Park. Among his favorite things are down-home cooking, Cincinnati Reds baseball, and being a Dad for the first time.
Kevin brings a wealth of experience in the hospitality sector, including as President of Operations for the innovative Mama Mimis and as Hospitality Directory for Fueled Collective Cincinnati, a private club. Kevin is both a Medicare Agent and our sole Final Expense specialist.
Laurie Stephan
Agent
Laurie has lived in Cincinnati nearly all her life…currently in Anderson Township. Prior to joining The MedPlan Store, Laurie worked as a Nurse Practitioner for 28 years. Her clinical background is exceptionally valuable for any Medicare beneficiary seeking guidance.
Laurie is a true advocate for her clients, and she has a heart of gold. She goes above and beyond, and loves finding solutions to problems.

Chris Stamas
Administration/Agent
A Dayton, Ohio, native, Chris brings a unique background to The MedPlan Store. He originally started out in video production with a national morning talk show, called The Daily Buzz. After the television business and managing a multi-million dollar movie theater, he began his insurance career in 2020.
Chris handles both the administration side (customer service, project management, video editing) and the insurance side. He is a licensed agent and can answer coverage questions, find solutions to problems, and help find the right Medicare plan.
Chris enjoys spending his free time tackling home renovation projects, camping, and traveling.
Melissa Humbert
Administration
Melissa joined The MedPlan Store in 2020. She comes from a legal background where she worked as a paralegal providing assistance and support to attorneys on a wide range of topics. She assists our agents in helping seniors start planning for their coverage to switch to Medicare. Melissa lives on the westside of Cincinnati with her husband and three boys. In her free time, Melissa enjoys camping with family and friends.
Vanessa Warneke
Marketing
Vanessa was born in Cincinnati where she raised four children and enjoys the benefits of grand-parenting.
She has spent the last 20 years as a Marketing and Customer Service Director, first with the Cincinnati Ballet serving as their Marketing Director, then The Kidney Foundation of Greater Cincinnati where she held the position of Director of Communications. Before making the move to The MedPlan Store, Vanessa was the Enterprise Member Marketing Manager for a major health insurance company where she led large cross-functional teams in the production of communications for the insured member.
Vanessa brings to The MedPlan Store her broad expertise in serving the customer and simplifying their experiences.
